Basic Personality: Fai is the kind of young man who will smile more often than not, but never when he's happy. He will always be the one to lighten a situation tactfully, and he's the first to laugh at himself and put others at ease. People often get the impression that he's not all there, but the truth is, he sees much more than he will ever let on. There is a very dark, unhappy side to Fai that he keeps hidden underneath all his smiles and cheer, and over the years he has gotten so good at hiding it that it's nigh impossible to see under his mask.
Foremost, he is a solitary person who knows that the best way to keep oneself hidden is to dive right into the middle of a crowd. He is also very lonely, but he enjoys taking care of other people, and would hate, above everything else, for someone to get hurt on his behalf.
Background: After arriving in Neisenma at the tender age of seventeen, Fai really didn't have any idea what to do with himself. Though he obviously has no recollection of his past, he had a strong sense that he couldn't remain in one place for long, and so he was constantly on the move even shortly after his arrival. He took odd jobs wherever he landed, simply to get enough money to move on to the next place. He does nothing to make himself stand out in any particular place, and though his personality is affable enough, he has yet to gain any actual companions for his travels.
Currently, he's making his way through Jade country, but no one knows how long that will last.
Listed weapons and magical abilities: Fai is an almost disgustingly powerful magician, but some events prior to his entering Neisenma (which he does not recall) resulted in the loss of a seal that would help him control said magical power. Because of this, he has made a vow to never use his magic -- which is wind based. He will, however, fight with his staff when necessary.
